Mexico Moves Ahead with Using CensusInfo to Disseminate Census Data (August)

The National Institute of Statistics and Geography (INEGI) of Mexico, with the support of the United Nations Statistics Division (UNSD), hosted a five-day CensusInfo training workshop from 18 to 22 July in Aguascalientes City, Mexico. Organized with the aim of building capacity and providing technical support for developing a Mexican CensusInfo database, the workshop was attended by 21 INEGI staff.


Malawi Moves Forward to Disseminate Latest Census Data Using CensusInfo (December)

United Nations Statistics Division (UNSD), in collaboration with the National Statistics Office (NSO) of Malawi, organized a national CensusInfo technical workshop in Zomba, Malawi from 27 November to 4 December.


CensusInfo Training Workshop Conducted in Mozambique (November)

A regional CensusInfo workshop was conducted in Maputo, Mozambique from 10 to 13 November. This workshop was sponsored by the CensusInfo initiative, a joint UN programme with support from UN Statistics Division, UNFPA and UNICEF.
